The Gallery of New York Folklore exhibits and sells, on a consignment basis, the works of traditional artists of New York State representing a wide range of traditions, heritages, ethnicities, and nationalities. The Gallery is located in downtown Schenectady on the pedestrian mall.

In addition to selling affordable tradition art, the Gallery also provides educational material about the artists and their artistic traditions, and showcases Gallery artists in artist demonstrations.

If you a traditional artist residing in New York and would like to have your work considered for placement in our Gallery, please call us at 518/346-7008 or email us at nyfs@nyfolklore.org with your contact information and a brief description of your work.

Our Gallery Manager will contact you with details concerning the consignment process and agreement.
